Harvested from the rare Rosa macrophylla; locally known as gob-chi — these nutrient-rich fruits grow naturally in the high-altitude landscapes of Samagaun, a remote village in Nepal’s Nubri Valley, nestled beneath the towering presence of Mount Manaslu (8,163m). At elevations above 3,500 meters, the rosehips are handpicked by local women and community members, preserving traditional harvesting knowledge while creating dignified livelihood opportunities.

What began as a successful international value chain partnership through luxury rosehip tea has now evolved into a new chapter: Rosehip Jam.

Created as part of our commitment to sustainability and product diversification, this jam ensures that the value of rosehip extends beyond a single product stream, strengthening the long-term resilience of the community-based enterprise. It is a carefully tested and refined product that captures the natural tartness and richness of Himalayan rosehips in every jar.
